Defence Menopause Network

World Menopause Day is more than a date on the calendar—it’s a powerful reminder to continue breaking the silence around menopause and to foster a workplace culture of empathy, understanding and support.
Across Defence and the Civil Service, efforts to raise awareness and provide meaningful support have gained momentum. From policy changes to grassroots conversations, we are seeing a shift in how menopause is understood and addressed. With over 1500 members the Defence Menopause Network provides support and resources helping influence policy and challenge perceptions.
World Menopause Day is a moment to reflect, but the conversation must continue year-round. Whether you’re experiencing menopause, supporting someone who is, or simply want to learn more—your voice matters. The Defence Menopause network is open to all Defence Personnel and seeks to make continued positive change to build a workplace where everyone feels seen, heard and supported.
