Celebrating World Mental Health Day 2019: Jon signs the Time to Change Pledge
Category: Mental Health, World Mental Health Day, Time to Change, Capita, Business Services, Time To Change Pledge
World Mental Health Day, Capita has taken another step in improving mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.
Our CEO Jon Lewis has signed the Time to Change Pledge at our Fort Dunlop site. This is an externally recognised accreditation and part of the UK’s largest and most ambitious programme to change public attitudes about mental health. The Time to Change programme aims to empower people to challenge stigma and speak openly about mental health.
Capita has had a successful year in getting the conversation started with regards to wellbeing; celebrating a successful Mental Health Awareness Week in May, taking part in the Green Ribbon campaign and highlighting role models in our business through a ‘This Is Me’ campaign, as part of a wider push around our wellbeing framework and improving our sources of support for our people.
Signing this pledge indicates to us that our leaders continue to be committed to making positive changes in the workplace as part of a wider wellbeing action plan.
