As a Disability Confident Leader, we continue to raise the awareness of mental health issues within our sport by promoting open conversations and provide support where needed.
The session focussed on practical ways for survival in the modern age which covered practical ways of managing stress and open conversations among the attendees.
“Hearing from others with similar issues helps me to see that I am not alone. The session provided me with an awareness of coping mechanisms and strategies when dealing with stress”
-Lorna Dwyer, Senior Performance Co-ordinator
