National Inclusion Week at Sanctuary – Building Inclusion Together

Inclusion is one of our core values at Sanctuary.

Our goal is to be a diverse, inclusive organisation where our people thrive and meet our customers’ needs with fairness and empathy.

This year’s National Inclusion Week (15-21 September) was a great chance to reflect on that commitment and celebrate how we’ve been working together to make Sanctuary more inclusive for everyone.

A packed week of activities saw teams across our organisation organise all sorts of events under the theme of ‘Building Inclusion Together’.

These included webinars and drop-in events, a special ‘Hot Topic’ event exploring identity, Lunch and Learn sessions and even a Diversity and Inclusion ‘speed dating’ session. This provided a fast-paced opportunity to get to know colleagues from other teams better, over a few fun introductory questions and some tasty snacks.

We also shared lots of useful resources, while colleagues from across our organisation shared their own experiences of inclusion, both inside and outside of Sanctuary.
