Appearing on BBC Breakfast: A Career Highlight for Our Team

We recently had the pleasure of seeing two of our team members, Kingsley Osei and Harriet Bunting, make a memorable appearance on the BBC Breakfast show. Kingsley, a PR Intern, and Harriet, a PR Apprentice, were invited to share their insights in a segment that has since become a career milestone for both of them. Reflecting on the experience, they described it as "...one of the most memorable experiences of our professional journey so far."

Kingsley Osei was particularly excited about the opportunity to raise awareness about an important topic. "Whilst on the show, I spoke about the governmental support needed to continue promoting apprenticeships for young people during the Spring Budget at the start of 2024," he explained. Being able to address such a critical issue on a national platform was a career-defining moment for Kingsley, highlighting the importance of apprenticeships and the positive impact they can have on young people’s futures.

Harriet Bunting, who typically works behind the scenes in her role as a PR Apprentice, also found the experience to be incredibly rewarding. "Typically, I work behind the scenes, but my manager encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and face the camera," Harriet shared. "I talked about first-time home buyers, a topic inspired by a conversation I'd had with the presenter, Nina Warhurst. It was such a great experience and all thanks to my supportive team."

Accompanying Kingsley and Harriet during the broadcast was Johnathan Cowan, Chief of Staff to our CEO.
