Sage - An equitable business where everyone can thrive

At Sage, we have big ambitions of being an equitable business where everyone can thrive, and we know the work to get there has just begun. But these recent inclusions tell us we’re on the right path, and we’re honoured to be in great company with some of the world’s most pioneering and innovative names.

Forbes named Sage as one of the World’s Best Employers, a list based on feedback from 170,000 people across 50 countries. The responses were codified into a scoring system, and 700 of the highest scorers -- from an initial pool of 5,000 companies -- were included on this list. Notably, Sage was one of only 31 companies from the UK on the list, and the only tech company from the region that made it to the list.

Forbes also included Sage on its Top Employers for Women list, which interviewed 70,000 women from over 37 countries – their responses led to Sage being ranked 137 of 400 companies that were finally included on the list. Notably, Sage was in the top 50% of tech companies on the list, and the only tech company from the UK to make it to the list. This builds on Sage’s inclusion on The Times’ Top Employers for Gender Equality from earlier this year.

Lastly, Sage was ranked #31 of 850 European companies on Financial Times’ Diversity Leaders 2024 list. Similar to Forbes’ lists, this ranking also surveyed colleagues, inviting input from 100,000 people across Europe on how they felt about their employers’ inclusion efforts. In addition, the analysis took into account other factors like the number of women in leadership positions at a company, and how much the business focuses on diversity and inclusion in its communications.

We have a long way to go, but we are definitely on the way.
