Stonewall, the UK LGBT equality charity, has ranked PwC as 11th in the Stonewall Top-100 Employers 2016, listing, up 71 places from last year’s 82nd position.
The Stonewall Top-100 Employers are the best performing employers on Stonewall’s Workplace Equality Index 2016, an annual audit of workplace culture for lesbian, gay, bi and transgender staff. Over 400 employers submitted entries to the 2016 Index, the highest number since the Index first opened in 2005.

Andy Woodfield, [email protected] partner sponsor, said:
“This is a fantastic achievement for PwC and everybody in the firm should be proud of their role in creating an open, inclusive environment for all staff. We’ve created something very special - a working environment where our people can be themselves and be different. It continues to be a pleasure to be involved in our [email protected] network and to work closely with Stonewall and others in the LGBT community that help guide our way."
Helen Campbell, [email protected] steering committee, said:
“We created [email protected] four years ago to change the perception of difference to one of strength. Through a lot of hard work from our national committee and support from all business units, we have seen a step change in staff being more comfortable to bring their true selves to work. We’re excited about what more we can do over this year and beyond.”
Ruth Hunt, chief executive, Stonewall said:
“PwC and all of those employers that secured a place in the Stonewall Top-100 Employers 2016 list performed fantastically this year.
