City College Norwich’s Jared receives Student of the Year

Jared Carpenter’s five-year journey with City College Norwich’s Sixth Form Centre and Rugroom, a specialist centre for students with autistic spectrum disorders, has come to an end and his life changing experience with the college was highlighted with him being named a finalist and runner up in the ‘Association of College’s National Student of the year awards'.
His time at the college has unearthed an extraordinary talent for mathematics and Jared is now studying a master’s degree program at UEA.
He said: “I was absolutely gob smacked when I found out. My time at City College Norwich has moulded and shaped me in to who I am today and the support I’ve received has been amazing.”
