Jacob's Welcomes Fran Darlington-Pollock From The Greater Manchester Mayor's Charity

Today we had the privilege of welcoming Fran Darlington-Pollock from the Greater Manchester Mayor's Charity to our Jacobs Manchester office. Fran delivered a powerful presentation on the challenges of homelessness and rough sleeping across our region—and the vital work the charity is doing to tackle it.
As our Charity of the Year, we’re proud to support their mission. Through initiatives like A Bed Every Night, the charity has:
- Provided over 70,000 nights of accommodation and support
- Helped reduce rough sleeping in Greater Manchester by 67% in just four years
- Supported more than 3,000 individuals on their journey to stability and independence
It was a moving and motivating session that reminded us all why this cause matters so much. Everyone deserves a safe place to call home.
