On International Women’s Day, we celebrated our fifth annual IWD event, with special guest speaker Steph Cullen. It was a chance to share stories, reaffirm our commitment to diversity and inclusion, and host our IWD Awards.
We recognised the incredible accomplishments of female and non-binary dunnhumbians, and celebrated the male allies who have made dunnhumby a more inclusive place for everyone!
Congratulations to our winners 🏆
Gabrielle was the face and 50% of the brains behind the incredible Belonging@dunnhumby programme. Thanks to her tireless work, she's helped drive a fundamental change in the inclusivity of dunnhumby as a business. By tossing aside the standard "unconscious bias training", Gabs built an emotive, powerful and thought challenging programme bespoke for dunnhumby - giving everyone in the business a shared language for talking about diversity and inclusion. She has been an advocate for all marginalised groups in the business and truly models the values of IWD and breaking the bias.
Congratulations Gabs for continuously Defying Expectations.
This past year, she had led our Global Partnership Management Team while pushing through many barriers to take our SAP partnership over the finish line. Her ambition for the partnership pushed the company into new areas and out of its comfort zone. She always thought about how this partnership can benefit our customers becoming customer first. She is truly an inspiration to many women in a very male-dominated field. Less than 10% of all alliance and partnership professionals are women! She’s paved the way for innovation by creating a key partnership that will positively change the direction of dunnhumby.”
Congratulations Liz for continuously Defying Expectations.
Manoj has been a champion for gender parity in dunnhumby and especially in the India office. He has influenced the culture at dh India heavily to make it more inclusive for everyone. He has played a big role in helping a number of women leaders at all grades overcome their inhibitions and step ahead confidently. He has been one of the most unbiased and balanced leaders I have worked with and he continues to inspire every day. He is a true male ally.”
Congratulations Manoj for continuously Defying Expectations.
Shaveta has worked tirelessly on DEI agenda at dh this year despite having a new role, having gone through a life-threatening health situation and making a full recovery while engaging in a new leadership role with a disengaged team that she motivated and engaged this year. I don’t know many people who can do this, not just in dh, but in life, who can focus on building and positivity when they are at the crossroads of life and death unexpectedly. I am so inspired by, and proud of, Shaveta. ”
Congratulations Shaveta for continuously Defying Expectations.
