Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) is pleased to announce that its commitment to promote gender equality and empowerment has been recognised by its inclusion in the Bloomberg Gender Equality Index (GEI) 2022.
The Bloomberg GEI aims to track the performance of public companies committed to transparency in gender data reporting. The index measures gender equality across five pillars: female leadership & talent pipeline, equal pay & gender pay parity, inclusive culture, anti-sexual harassment policies, and pro-women brand.
The is the second year running that CCEP has been included in the index, following the submission of gender data that reflects its high standards of transparency in gender-data reporting and the adoption of best-in-class statistics and policies.
"It’s very important to us to see our efforts on inclusion and diversity recognised, and we’re proud to be included in the Bloomberg Gender Equality Index again. It’s one of the ways we can hold ourselves accountable for the action we are taking to support women across our business. We know that we have an important role to play in advancing disclosure and transparency in gender data reporting to promote gender equality. It’s a key priority for us, and one of the ways that we are fostering a culture where everyone’s welcome to be themselves, be valued and belong." Leendert den Hollander General Manager, Northern Europe at CCEP and Executive Sponsor Gender Equality
"This index gives us a rich source of data and benchmarking and informs ways we can improve gender equality year on year. We will use this information to work with colleagues right across CCEP and focus our efforts in creating sustainable change both inside CCEP and everywhere the societies in which we operate."
Véronique Vuillod Chief People & Culture Officer, CCEP
Within its This is Forward sustainability strategy, CCEP has set a target of ensuring that at least 40% of management positions are held by women by 2025. As of 31 December 2021, we had 37.3% women in senior management roles across our European operations, an increase of 1.3% on the previous year.
