 About Camden

There’s nowhere like Camden. Stretching from Covent Garden to Hampstead and Highgate, Camden is the beating heart of London and home to 230,000 people from all walks of life.

We have a proud rebellious spirit, that throughout history has seen communities come together to tackle problems and bring about real social change. We’re also home to international institutions and businesses, museums and theatres, world famous markets and some of the best live music venues in the capital.

We believe in public services and we are proud of the public services we provide. We work together to make Camden a better borough – a place where everyone has a chance to succeed and where nobody gets left behind. Together we will create a place for everyone and where everyone has a voice.
