Raising awareness of mental health in the workplace (and beyond!) is important and we all have the responsibility to break the stigma.

Thanks to everyone for taking part in yesterday's event for World Mental Health Day!

Alison Williams, Head of Data Management & Governance says, "Yesterday was World Mental Health day and I was very proud to be part of an incredible event run by the dunnhumby Thrive team. We shared our stories of mental health challenges in two global events, reaching 300+ people. The aim was to take away the stigma of talking about mental health, particularly in the workplace, and to remind people that they are not alone in this challenge. I am always open to sharing my experience with anyone who would find this helpful."

At dunnhumby, we want to encourage a culture where people feel comfortable to speak out and to provide practical means of support. We also run a network of Mental Health First Aiders for additional support. Our MHFAs have received external training to become accredited and confident in how to apply the skills and knowledge in practice.
