“Having lived in Birmingham all my life, I grew up constantly being immersed in Jamaican culture especially from Jamaican cuisine because Jamaicans are everywhere there.”
“So, one of the ways in which I celebrate Black History Month is by trying different Jamaican cuisines throughout the month thanks to a recipe book my nan made me. The Black gay scene in Birmingham is amazing so I'm also always at different Black queer events.”
