Apprenticeships at the MOD

From the 5^th to the 11^th of February MOD will be celebrating and showcasing the amazing apprenticeship opportunities within the MOD through a number of talks and events across the week. This year’s theme is ‘Skills for Life’ showcasing how apprenticeships can help you develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career by equipping you with future-ready skills.

Across the whole force, MOD has over 110 different apprenticeship schemes on offer from data and digital to project delivery. These are not just for new joiners and can be completed at any point during your career at any age. These cover all levels right up to the equivalent of a master’s degree! Apprenticeships are fully funded, and apprentices have 20% of their working week to work offline completing course assignments and coursework and will have access to a wide network of support during the course. Apprenticeships are a valuable opportunity to develop new skills and gain nationally recognised professional qualifications and the MOD prides itself in being able to offer a wide range of opportunities for its employees.
