I currently work for the Ministry of Defence (MOD) in a commercial role within a major project. I have been in the commercial sector for just over a year.

The Army Commercial team provides critical Commercial Support to the Army across a wide range of its activity. The team of Commercial experts are pivotal in ensuring the Army can deliver their operational capability on the front line.

Working within a project environment offers numerous advantages that enhance both professional growth and personal satisfaction, with no two days being the same. The work is challenging and fast-paced, which makes it highly engaging.

During my time on the programme, I have been involved in various tasks, including requirement management, electronic communication between the commercial team and bidders, resourcing, and reviewing and conducting the evaluation process of tenders. I am honoured to have received the Ministry of Defence Procurement Acquisition and Project Delivery - Rising Star in Defence Award. This award recognizes and commends the outstanding contributions of teams and individuals in the acquisition field throughout Defence.
