AI Solution Architect - 6 Months - Inside IR35 - £750-£800/day A leading global bank is looking for an AI Solution Architect to join a major Gen AI transformation programme across EMEA. This is a design and governance-focused role - ideal for an architect who leads on solution design, technical review and stakeholder engagement rather than hands-on coding. Contract DetailsDuration: 6 months (view to extend)Status: Inside IR35Rate: £750 - £800 per dayLocation: London (Hybrid)Start: ASAPThe RoleYou'll design Gen AI solution architectures (RAG, agentic patterns, LLM integration), lead architecture review boards, and set the governance standards that engineering teams build against. You'll be the technical voice in front of senior business and technology stakeholders - translating complex AI concepts into clear, actionable guidance. What You'll DoDesign end-to-end Gen AI architectures across Azure/AWS and hybrid on-prem/cloud environmentsLead technical design reviews and ARB sessionsDefine AI governance, model risk and responsible AI standardsSet reusable design patterns for RAG, prompt engineering and LLM integration (MCP, A2A)Act as the technical bridge between business, cloud and delivery teamsGuide engineering teams on implementation - without being hands-on delivery yourselfWhat We're Looking ForProven track record as an AI/Solution Architect (not primarily a hands-on engineer)Experience in regulated, multi-entity financial services environmentsStrong enterprise architecture governance background (ARBs, design authorities, risk sign-off)Solid understanding of Gen AI/LLM concepts - RAG, agentic architectures, prompt engineeringExcellent stakeholder management and business communication skillsExperience with Azure AI services (Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, AI Search) desirableApply now for immediate consideration.
