BBC Embrace

Embrace is a staff-led network for BBC Colleagues from Black, Asian and Ethnic Minority backgrounds. Our mission is to enrich the BBC by promoting a truly inclusive culture throughout the organisation, and to level the playing field by empowering our members to reach their full potential. The group holds events and panels providing resources for education and allies whilst also shining a spotlight on colleague achievements.

Our main objectives are:

• To encourage and support Black, Asian and Ethnic Minority staff to develop and achieve their full potential
• To bring Black, Asian and Ethnic Minority employees together by offering networking opportunities with both internal and external industry professionals
• To make a positive contribution to BBC policy development and implementation.
• To support the BBC in creating greater diversity both for workforce and portrayal.
