Positive Signs delivers a range of training courses for individuals and businesses at competitive prices.  Our one-day courses on 'Introduction to Deaf Awareness' and 'Learn2Sign' can also be customised to from 2.5 to 15 hours to meet the learning needs of your staff. We tailor-make courses to meet your business needs – anything from short 'Lunchtime Bites' through to rolling training programmes.  Examples include: 'Deaf People at Work' - covering simple communication tactics, the smooth induction to work for a Deaf employee and their hearing colleagues, introduction to common phrases in BSL, conducting inclusive meetings, guidance on recruitment avenues, equipment and funding sources for equipment and communication support in the workplace; 'Healthy Ways for Deaf People' - covering good practice for GP surgeries, clinics and hospitals [both in-patient and out-patient], to ensure Deaf people are given every opportunity to make total and informed decisions about their health.

We are an Employment Hub for employers, education/training providers and work with other agencies and organsiations who recognise that an inclusive talent pool is not only the right way forward but also offers many benefits: signposting Deaf people to jobs and apprenticeship opportunities and ensuring vacancies and services are seen by a wide ranging inclusive talent pool. Positive Signs created and led the Inclusive Apprenticeships Campaign around the time of the London 2012 Olympics and secured 23 apprenticeships. We continue to advise and provide brokerage services for Deaf people interested in apprenticeship opportunities.
