Housing Diversity Network

HDN is an established social enterprise that supports organisations to improve how they address inequality, get the most from their staff and meet the needs of the communities they work with.

Our mission is to promote equality and social justice in housing, neighbourhoods and communities. At HDN, our vision is to be the leading organisation in the UK promoting equality and diversity in housing, neighbourhoods and communities – reducing inequality, maximising the benefits of diversity and changing lives for the better.

We have three strategic aims that inform and guide our activity.

Aim 1 – To be a leading voice for the sector ensuring equality and diversity remains a high priority.

We do this through:

• E&D Practitioner groups
• Articles in the press
• Research and policy
• Engaging/partnering with industry leaders and organisations such as NHF, CIH, NFA and PlaceShapers

Aim 2 – To provide up to date, relevant and practical advice and guidance to the sector.

We do this through:

• An events programme including seminars, training and conferences
• Monthly E-briefing to members
• E&D Practitioner Networks
• Factsheets and briefings

Aim 3 – To support organisations, individuals and communities to address inequality and embrace diversity.
