Our mission is to help young people achieve their full potential, regardless of their background. We do this by running after-school tutoring, mentoring and enrichment programmes for young people aged 11-18.
Although most of our programmes are open to any young person from a low-income background, we also run specific programmes that target young people who are on Free School Meals, young people living in care and young people at risk of permanent exclusion.
Our programme includes mentoring sessions connecting the young people with professionals from a range of backgrounds that can help them understand more about their personal strengths and interests, help them with setting and achieving their personal goals.
We also offer online tutoring sessions that take place online, giving each young person 1-to-1 support. Tutors and tutee's work together to establish problem areas, setting academic goals and working towards reaching them and improving.
We aim to help each young person become more confident and to increase their self-motivation. We also help them with building soft skills and interpersonal skills by running skill building workshops.
We give young people the opportunity to develop their technical skills through computer coding, academic and entrepreneurship workshops. This will help young people improve their presentation, team working, leadership, and communication skills and ultimately increase their confidence, motivation and resilience.
