Welcome to VERCIDA website.
Skip to main contentIn 2012, fuelled by The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry’s passion for supporting the recovery of wounded, injured and sick Servicemen and women, The Royal Foundation created the Endeavour Fund.
The Endeavour Fund offers seed funding for sporting and adventure challenges and helps emerging initiatives with advice, hands-on support and mentoring. The fund plays an important role in ensuring that more Servicemen and women have the opportunity to rediscover their self-belief and fighting spirit through physical challenges.
The profile of these endeavours will help keep Armed Forces issues in the public consciousness and swell the public support that surrounds those who have sacrificed so much in service.
The Endeavour Fund is independently managed by an Advisory Board comprising of alumni of past endeavours and representatives of organisations including Walking With The Wounded, Row2Recovery, Battle Back (Help for Heroes) and The Royal Foundation.
We believe in cross-sector, joined up working. Many of our endeavours have involved co-funding with other military charities to ensure we are not working in competition.
The Royal Foundation hopes that the Endeavour Fund will inspire many more wounded Servicemen and women to explore new physical challenges as part of their recovery; rebuilding their confidence and looking forward with optimism to the next chapter of their lives.
