We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable
Zumba Instructor to deliver engaging Zumba classes for adult learners. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about dance‑fitness and enjoys motivating people of all abilities in a supportive, inclusive environment.
As a Zumba Instructor, you will plan and deliver high‑quality sessions that celebrate the energy, rhythm, and expressive nature of Zumba, helping participants improve fitness, coordination, and confidence while enjoying the social aspects of group exercise.
Key Responsibilities - Plan and deliver engaging Zumba sessions suitable for adult learners of varying experience levels.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive, and positive class environment.
- Adapt routines to accommodate different abilities and fitness levels.
- Encourage participation, confidence, and enjoyment through clear instruction and motivation.
- Maintain a safe learning environment, following health and safety guidance.
- Build a sense of community and connection within classes.
Essential Experience - Strong knowledge and practical experience of Zumba techniques and styles.
- A genuine passion for Zumba and group fitness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire learners.
- Confidence leading group classes.
- You need an official Zumba Basic 1 (B1) trainig license to teach official Zumba classes.
Desirable Experience - Previous experience teaching adults in a fitness, dance, or community setting.

Any successful candidates will be required to complete a structured training pathway, unless they already hold the relevant qualifications. This includes a two-week teacher induction (must be completed within probation), followed by the Award in Education and Training (AET) including Assessor is required, and then the Level 5 Learning and Skills Teacher (LST) apprenticeship. Completion of this structured learning programme is expected within 3 years. Furthermore, there is the option to pursue Qualified Teacher Learning Status (QTLS).
