About us:
In addition to working in a fantastic school with wonderful children and dedicated colleagues, Kernow Learning is committed to making employment with us rewarding and enjoyable.
We are a multi-academy trust of 21 primary schools in Cornwall. Our schools work together to provide strength so that they can stretch their offer beyond expectations in their drive for excellence. Our Trust is not insular; we embrace collaboration, innovation and development. Our English Hub supports schools across Cornwall to secure children's early reading, whilst our Teaching School Hub, as a partner in One Cornwall, provides services to schools across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly in relation to areas such as the Early Career Framework and National Professional Qualifications.
As a Church School, Christian values are at the heart of everything we do at King Charles. We are committed to preparing our pupils for life and pride ourselves on creating a caring, nurturing, exciting and enabling environment where every child can thrive, feel safe and achieve.
At King Charles, relationships are central to our success. We place great importance on building positive partnerships with pupils, families, staff and the wider community.
Our values of friendship, creativity, aspiration, teamwork and achievement underpin all that we do.

We Offer:
• Membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme.
• A strong commitment to staff wellbeing, including access to a 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme.
• A wide range of CPD and professional development opportunities, both internal and external.
• Access to specialist expertise, networks and support across Kernow Learning and our Shared Services teams.
• An opportunity to grow your career with us, whatever your role, experience or background.
Kernow Learning is committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and follows the Safer Recruitment process. The successful candidate will be expected to share this commitment and will be required to undertake checks including an enhanced disclosure through the DBS process, as well as prohibition, S128, and Social Media/online presence checks.
We are committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates. If you require any part of the application pack in an alternative format, or require reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss your needs.
Unfortunately, we are not a sponsoring organisation for overseas candidates. This means that the successful candidate will need to possess the right to work in the UK or be able to secure the right to work in the UK independently.
For further information, or for support with the application process, please contact our HR Team on 01637 303106 or email [email protected].
