If you're an HR professional who enjoys variety, problem-solving and making a positive contribution, this could be the opportunity for you.
We're looking for

This is a varied role where no two days are quite the same. You will use your HR knowledge, judgement and influencing skills to support managers across a range of workforce relations matters, while also contributing to wider work across the service.

- engaging with Trade Union representatives
- supporting grading activity
- contributing to policy development and implementation, including training.
You will work closely with managers, colleagues across Workforce Services and Trade Union representatives, analysing and interpreting information, navigating sensitive issues and providing clear advice that helps move matters forward.
You will also have opportunities to contribute ideas, identify improvements and help shape how we deliver our service.
What are we looking for? We're looking for someone with sound HR knowledge, professional judgement and a solutions-focused approach.
You will have considerable knowledge of HR legislation and best practice and be able to apply this to real-life workplace situations.
You will be able to build effective working relationships, use your own initiative and manage competing priorities in a changing environment.
You will be
CIPD qualified to Level 5 and working towards Level 7, with relevant HR experience, or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
We recognise that relevant skills and experience can be gained in different ways, and we welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate how they meet the requirements of the role.
