Work Based Assessor - Fabrication/Welding Job description
37 hours per weekWe are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated work based assessor to join our team. Flexibility, team work and attention to detail are attributes required to work within this expanding area of curriculum at Coleg Gwent.
Working as part of a College-wide team you will have a wide range of duties to support work based learners and the assessment processes, both within the college and at work placements.
Candidates must hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification or above in Fabrication and Welding and be experienced in undertaking work placed assessments.
The ability to use the Welsh language at a basic level (or willingness to undertake training) is desirable.
Applications may be submitted in Welsh and will not be treated less favourably than applications submitted in English.
Requirements & Compliance - Safeguarding: Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check and EWC registration (costs covered by the candidate).
- Qualifications: Lecturers must hold or be willing to achieve a teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) within a set period.
