Location: Bradford
Salary: £30,000 + 4-day working week + flexi time
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for a Senior Warehouse Operative, Chargehand or Team Leader looking to step up into a supervisory role.

You'll join a busy and well-organised distribution operation, working closely with the Warehouse Manager and acting as their second-in-command when required, playing a key role in the day-to-day running of the site.

If you enjoy a hands-on role, leading from the front and improving how things run, this position offers clear progression and real responsibility.

The Role

You'll support the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily operations across goods in, picking, packing and dispatch, helping to ensure everything runs efficiently and on schedule.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in both supervising the team and working alongside them when needed.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting the Warehouse Manager in the day-to-day running of the warehouse
• Leading, organising and allocating workloads across the team
• Ensuring orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time
• Overseeing goods in, checking and storing stock correctly
• Monitoring stock levels and investigating discrepancies
• Maintaining accurate documentation including pick lists and audit records
• Driving high standards of housekeeping, organisation and space utilisation
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency across storage and picking
• Ensuring all Health & Safety procedures are followed
• Supporting team training, development and performance

Hours & Benefits

• £30,000 salary
• Rotating shifts:
• Week 1: 06:00 - 16:00
• Week 2: 12:00 - 22:00
• 4-day working week (with a rotating day off)
• 9.5-hour shifts (40 hours paid)
• 2 hours banked weekly = 11 additional flexi days per year

About You

• Experience within a warehouse or logistics environment
• Currently working at Senior Operative, Chargehand or Team Leader level
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes, stock control and audits
• Hands-on approach with confidence leading by example
• Organised, reliable and proactive
• Health & Safety focused
• Flexible approach to shifts
• Full UK driving licence
