The main element of the role is ensuring and supporting the delivery ofcleaning, catering and minor maintenance, together with other specified tasksto meet individual patients needs, as determined by the ward sister/chargenurse.
The post holder will work co-operatively with colleagues, aspart of the team and perform additional duties as and when directed by the ward clinical team, to enable nursingstaff to undertake direct patient care.
We are looking to recruit someone who understands theimportance of working confidentially, has good communication skills, able to managetheir time efficiently as an independent worker but would also value being partof a well-established team.

Responsible for the receipt and quality check of linen received on the ward. Communicate with the linen services as the need arises to resolve any problems with the ward linen supply. Order consumables and other supplies and liaise with the logistics team, ensuring that all supplies are correctly stored and used in rotation, and that storage systems are maintained in a clean condition. Liaise with supplies and materials handling staff as appropriate to ensure that the process is as efficient as possible, resolving any problems that may arise. Responsible for maintain departmental store cupboards in line with Trust guidance in a tidy, clean and concise manner. Responsible for monitoring, managing and maintaining stock replenishment.
