Here's the exciting bit... A day incldes:
Reviewing and bilding store planograms, working with Byers and Merchandisers to deliver layots that work for or cstomers and store teams.
Working with sppliers to find the best fixtre soltions to help cstomers nderstand and shop or ranges.
Spporting strong promotional plans, considering which prodcts are available in which stores.
Getting involved in key company projects.
Bilding an nderstanding of or cstomers to help make the right ranging and merchandising decisions.
Helping improve the qality of stock in stores and spporting the visibility of or Own Brand prodcts.
Key Responsibilities:
Planogram Management
Work closely with the Merchandise Planner and Bying team to agree range review objectives and ensre these are met across all plans within the agreed timeline.
Coordinate planning meetings with all relevant stakeholders.
Ensre all planograms meet visal merchandising gidelines and planogram rles.
Manage discontined stock effectively within category planograms and highlight key risks before plans go live.
nderstand the impact of de-ranged stock on the bsiness and take appropriate steps to minimise this.
Bild plans in the merchandise centre or with spplier category teams ahead of range reviews, as reqired.
Agree and deliver range review commnications ahead of lanch, coordinating with Store Operations.
Deliver planograms to stores and respond promptly to store team qeries.
Fixtres and Merchandising Soltions
Ensre all fixtres are inclded in the planning process and positioned on planograms in line with merchandising principles.
Manage fixtre projects and critical paths for yor categories, meeting category objectives within agreed bdgets and timescales.
Analyse the impact of fixtres and trays in stores, sharing data and findings with the wider team.
Range Management
Maintain accrate category range plans, keeping them p to date with new lines and range changes.
Range new prodcts to stores and pdate category range plans accordingly.
Take ownership of weekly linked-line management for the team.
nderstand the Sperdrg shopper and develop range plans that reflect the needs of each cstomer segment.
Promotional Planograms
Own the promotional planogram sign-off process for Hair, Personal Care and Convenience, bilding all planograms in line with the critical path.
Ensre the sign-off sheet is approved by the Senior Visal Planner.
Review and challenge prodct facings sing promotional forecasts and SK-level distribtion.
Ensre plans are commnicated clearly and efficiently throgh the promotional blletin.
Maintain weekly trackers and rn reports for the wider team.
Stakeholder Relationships
Bild and maintain effective working relationships with store teams, internal departments, sppliers and other external stakeholders.
Spport key company projects and deliver work within agreed bdgets and timescales.
What yo need to scceed:
Experience working in a store environment or another visal planning role.
Strong attention to detail, with an awareness of the bigger pictre.
Confidence to challenge the stats qo and sggest improvements.
A team-focsed approach and the ability to collaborate with other departments.
A desire to do what is best for or cstomers.
Good nmerical, problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience sing Microsoft Otlook, Word and Excel.
