An exciting opportunity awaits you as a Virtual School Achievement Officer! You will play a vital role in enhancing the progress, attainment, and achievement of children and young people who are looked after by the Local Authority. This includes supporting those who have previously been looked after, those with social worker involvement, and children in kinship care.

As a Virtual School Achievement Officer, your key responsibilities will include:

• Support and Challenge: Provide effective support and challenge to the teams around our children to improve outcomes, including attendance, suspensions, progress, and attainment.
• Collaborative Partnerships: Facilitate collaborative working and partnerships between various services, schools, and educational settings.
• Promote Relational Approaches: Enable relational approaches to build capacity in organisations, ensuring our children receive the support they need to thrive.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• Relevant professional qualification, diploma or degree in a relevant area.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience working with children in vulnerable situations
• Skills in establishing professional relationships, influencing, decision making, meeting objectives, and identifying and responding to risk
