We are recruiting a Van Driver at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

We are seeking a reliable and flexible Relief Van Driver to support our Meals Direct service, delivering hot meals to vulnerable residents across the county borough. The role provides essential cover for planned and unplanned absences, ensuring customers receive their meals safely and on time.

Applicants should have a full, clean driving licence, good communication skills, and a customer-focused approach. This rewarding role also involves promoting the wellbeing of service users through regular contact and welfare observations during deliveries. Experience in a customer-facing role is desirable.

For the role, we ask that you have:

• A full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence to drive a Council vehicle.
• At least one year experience of driving.
• The ability to undertake and pass the CCBC driving assessment.
