Our Southend site is also the regional complex Urology cancer centre with two Da Vinci Robotic systems. Both sites have da Vinci robot systems. Paediatric urology is based at Basildon and Broomfield. We coordinate renal cancer surgical cases via a weekly planning meeting and the renal surgical specialist MDT.
We currently offer an emergency lithotripter service with a combined Southend/ Broomfield rota. Both sites offer ureteroscopic stone surgery with local and combined complex benign MDTs. Current BPH treatments offered include HoLEP, TURIS TURP, Rezum, UroLift and PAE.
