We are looking for a GPhC-registered Pharmacist to join our friendly, supportive and high-performing pharmacy team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a pharmacist looking for greater flexibility and a healthy work-life balance, while continuing to develop their professional experience within a busy and forward-thinking pharmacy environment.

The role is particularly well suited to pharmacists who are looking to work around family commitments, childcare, other professional responsibilities or other aspects of their personal life. With consistent working hours of 4:00pm to 8:00pm, Monday to Friday, the role provides a predictable working pattern without the requirement for daytime shifts.

You will become part of a dedicated and collaborative team, working across our newly refurbished dispensary facilities and contributing to the delivery of safe, high-quality and patient-focused pharmacy services. You will have the opportunity to use your clinical knowledge and professional expertise while working alongside experienced pharmacy colleagues in a supportive environment.

Person specification

Hospital pharmacy experience

Essential criteria

• Experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting.

Desirable criteria

• NHS hospital pharmacy experience.

Clinical and dispensing experience

Essential criteria

• Experience in prescription screening

Desirable criteria

• NHS, hospital or community pharmacy experience.

Teamwork and service improvement

Essential criteria

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable criteria

• Experience in quality improvement.

Disclosure and Barring Service Check

Please note if you are successful in obtaining this position and the post involves regulated activity you will be required to undertake a Disclosure & Barring Service check.

The Trust will pay for the check initially and the money will then be deducted from your salary over a three month period commencing on your first month's payment.

The current price of a check is £38 for an enhanced and £18 for a standard check.

COVID 19 Risk Assessment

Due to the current Covid pandemic we have introduced a staff risk assessment into our pre-employment process. This now forms part of the mandatory pre-employment checks that will be carried out if you receive a conditional offer.
