Job description

We are seeking Substantive Detective Constables to transfer to Warwickshire Police!

We are looking for Detective Constables with SCAIDP or SSAIDP training/accreditation (or equivalent).

You must have successfully completed your probationary period prior to applying to join us.

Application Criteria:
  1. Substantive in the rank of Constable
  2. Able to pass and maintain the Fitness Test. Vetting and Medical
  3. To be eligible to transfer you must: Be a current serving police officer in a Home Office force
  4. Have no outstanding discipline or integrity issues
  5. Must have successfully completed your probationary period with your Force prior to submitting your application

Another bonus - if you join our CATE or DART team you will receive an additional payment! (Targeted Variable Payment - TVP for 2026/27 will depend whether you are in essential posts - following the Protective Services Review)

Please note that many of our detective roles are designated posts and successful applicants will be required to undertake management vetting.
