1x Part Time 29.6 hours per week

1x 30 hours, Term Time only, 41 weeks

Location: County Hall, Exeter (Hybrid working in office and working from home.)

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Training and Conference Officer to join our team, supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of diverse events across Inclusion and Learning services.

What you'll be doing

The successful candidate will play a key part in co-ordinating and delivering a wide range of online and in-person training and events, ensuring colleague, schools, settings and professional partners receive an efficient, friendly and quality service.

You will be involved in every stage of the training journey from creation, ensuring operational viability to managing bookings, financial processes and contracts, enquiries and pre and post administration, while also contributing to the successful delivery of larger conferences and events as part of a supportive and dedicated team.

We're looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable team player who embraces new challenges, brings a positive approach and is willing to support colleagues and wider teams whenever needed.

About you:
  • Experienced administrator with excellent organisational skills
  • Customer focussed, pro-active and able to manage competing priorities
  • Confident communicator with a wide range of people
  • Effective managing your own workload while collaborating and contributing with the team
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, TEAMS and Outlook, with the ability to learn new and bespoke applications
  • Understanding of CRM/database management and reporting
  • Solution focussed, calm and resilient under pressure
