Job summaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Band 4 Therapy Assistant to join Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust on a part-time basis (15 hours).
This post would be suitable for either a Band 3 Therapy Assistant looking to progress and manage their own patient caseload, or an individual with a relevant healthcare background seeking to develop their clinical experience.
Main duties of the jobThe job description provides details on the clinical, administrative and communication requirements and responsibilities of this post. However, the key role will be to support the Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists to deliver therapeutic care to the patients following admission to hospital.
You will also be responsible for - Delegated administration duties for individuals and the clinical team in which you are working Liaison and communication with therapists and other professionals. Dealing sensitively with patients and their families. Maintaining treatment areas and equipment Maintaining accurate documentation and written feedback of therapy sessions.

Person Specification Education and qualifications Essential - Good reading and writing English comprehension
- GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths grade C or above
Desirable - Relevant NVQ (or working towards a NVQ)
Experience Essential - Experience of working in a healthcare setting/ hospital
- Experience working in a clinical role with people with disabilities/ health conditions
