About the role

We are looking for an experienced photography professional with substantial practical knowledge of studio and location-based photographic production. You will have hands-on experience in areas such as commercial photography, technical support, studio management, equipment hire, photographic assisting or creative production.

A high level of expertise in photographic lighting is essential. You will be confident planning, building, operating and troubleshooting professional lighting and camera systems, as well as supporting tethered shooting and a range of photographic workflows.

You will also have experience of equipment preparation, testing and maintenance, studio operations and health and safety within photographic environments. You will be confident sharing your technical knowledge through demonstrations and practical support, helping students and colleagues develop their technical confidence and professional practice.

Experience within higher or further education is advantageous but not essential; applications from experienced industry professionals looking to move into education are warmly encouraged.
