A little more about your role:

Significant investment is being made in the UK's electricity transmission and distribution infrastructure to connect new renewable generation, strengthen network resilience and support the journey towards a secure, low-carbon energy future.

From major substation developments and overhead line projects to underground cable schemes and network upgrades, the country is delivering some of the most important energy infrastructure programmes in Europe.

At WSP, we're supporting clients across a wide range of transmission and distribution projects and are looking to connect with talented professionals who want to be part of this exciting period of growth.

We're keen to hear from Technical Project Managers and Project Engineers with experience in any of the following areas:
  • Distribution Substations
  • Transmission Substations
  • Overhead Lines (OHL)
  • Underground Cables


Hybrid opportunities are available across the UK, including but not limited to Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesborough, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Derby, London, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
