We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Team Manager to join our friendly and dedicated Include Me 2 Service, leading a passionate team delivering high-quality short breaks across Lancashire and Blackpool. About the Service: Our Include Me 2 Service provides short breaks for children and young people aged 4-18 with a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across Lancashire and Blackpool. Through a variety of fun and engaging activities, including arts and crafts, cooking and community outings, we provide opportunities for children and young people to build confidence, develop friendships and enjoy new experiences, while offering valuable respite to their families and carers. We are a supportive, passionate and dedicated team looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable individual to join us as our Team Manager.

Location: Your main base will be 453 Leyland Road, Preston, PR5 5SB with flexibility to work 1 day a week from home.
Other locations you must be willing to travel to as part of the role include Chorley, South Ribble, Burnley/Pendle, Preston, West Lancs and Blackpool areas
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm including one evening each week to support service delivery (typically until approximately 8.00pm).
Essential Requirements to evidence in your written application: - Must hold OR be willing to complete the Level 5 Health & Social Care Management qualification or equivalent.
- Must hold a valid driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Experience of managing a team and tackling sickness/performance related issues.
- Ability to demonstrate experience and a good understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures in a similar setting.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability and confidence to work under pressure, multitask and prioritise a heavy workload.
- Experience of working to commissioner expectations.
Some of the main responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Overseeing the services operating from Include Me 2 shorts breaks services within the Lancashire and Blackpool locality.
- Lead the recruitment, supervision and development of staff, including facilitating regular team meetings and supporting continuous professional development.
- Contribute to the monitoring of service budgets and invoices whilst identifying opportunities to increase service capacity and expand group provision.
- Lead on safeguarding and health and safety, ensuring compliance with Barnardo's policies and statutory requirements.
- Work closely with the Children's Services Manager to drive continuous improvement, ensuring high-quality practice, compliance and Ofsted readiness.
- Ensure high-quality recording and accurate case file documentation across the service.
- Monitor compliance through regular case file audits and file sign-off processes.
- To participate in a manager on call rota
- To provide a safe, fun and inclusive environment for all our staff and service users.
