27.5 hours per week Term Time Only

Salary: £16,892 - £17,159 (TA1), £17,709 - £18,280 (TA2)

Wharton Primary School is part of The LINK Education Trust - a group of 8 Salford schools working collaboratively to promote best outcomes for all.

The Local Governing Board of Wharton Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed TA1 or 2 to work in Key Stage 2 supporting individuals and small groups of pupils. The successful candidate may be a graduate who is considering a career in the education sector or a career Teaching Assistant. They be working as part of a dedicated and supportive team and will have high expectations of standards and behaviour.

This is initially a temporary 12 month contract with a possibility of extending subject to pupil numbers and budget.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required.
