Job opportunity: Teacher Trainer - Level 5 LST Apprenticeship

About the role

We are seeking an inspiring Teacher Trainer to deliver on our Level 5 Learning & Skills Teacher Apprenticeship, developing trainee teachers into confident, effective FE practitioners.

You'll combine excellent teaching, coaching and apprenticeship expertise to support strong progress, high-quality practice and successful completion.

Key responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging training on the Level 5 programme
  • Coach and mentor trainee teachers
  • Track progress and support portfolios and EPA
  • Work with workplace mentors and curriculum teams
  • Contribute to quality improvement and curriculum development
  • Undertake tutor responsibilities

About you
  • Qualified teacher (Level 5+) with a record of good or better teaching
  • Experience of coaching or developing staff
  • Strong understanding of teaching, learning and assessment
  • Organised, collaborative and committed to high standards
  • Experience of delivering or supporting in ITE
