M3 - UPS2 + TL2 £3,527 per annum
Signhills Infant Academy is seeking an inspirational, passionate Early Years leader to guide our dedicated team, foster a love of lifelong learning, and shape the future of our youngest learners. Rated 'Strong' across all areas in our recent Ofsted inspection, we are actively driving forward on our journey to 'Exceptional' in the Early Years.
- Curiosity Approach Pedagogy: We hold full accreditation in the Curiosity Approach, transforming our learning environments into child-led spaces filled with authentic resources and natural materials.
- Exemplary Culture: Ofsted recognised our exemplary pupil behavior, respectful culture, and positive staff-pupil relationships as standout strengths.
- Outreach & Impact: You will join a team embarking on a journey to share Early Years best practice with schools far and wide.
Key Responsibilities - Pedagogical Leadership: Lead, sustain, and expand the Curiosity Approach philosophy across our Foundation Stage.
- Curriculum & Progress: Oversee a diverse, inclusive, and well-sequenced EYFS curriculum while maintaining effective assessment tracking to ensure strong pupil progress.
- Strategic Improvement: Feed insights into the School Development Plan (SDP) and create targeted action plans for the EYFS.
- Staff Empowerment: Coach, mentor, model team teaching, and deliver CPD to continuously build staff practice.
- Collaboration & Outreach: Lead networking efforts, deliver training, and liaise with partner schools and the St. Lawrence Academies Trust on key EYFS initiatives.
Requirements - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a proven track record of outstanding Early Years teaching and leadership.
- Deep understanding of and alignment with the Curiosity Approach philosophy.
- The vision, drive, and enthusiasm to lead strategic school improvement.
- Articulate, confident communication skills to build collaborative relationships and deliver engaging training.
