Job description

Supported Learning Manager

The Supported Learning Manager provides inspirational leadership and operational management of the Supported Learning provision, championing the needs of high needs learners across the college. Acting as second to the Head of Curriculum, the Supported Learning Manager ensures that learners with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and other high needs receive a high-quality, personalised learning experience that supports their independence, progression, and achievement

Effective leadership or management experience within a SEND, supported learning, or high needs provision is desirable. Experience of working with local authorities, SEND teams, and external statutory agencies in relation to EHCPs and high needs provision is essential as is a strong background in delivering high-quality teaching and learning outcomes for learners with complex and high needs
