Support Practitioner to join our Renfrewshire Housing Support team, working alongside people who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of losing their home.
You'll build positive relationships, offer practical and emotional support and help people work towards the things that matter to them - from maintaining a tenancy and improving wellbeing to feeling more connected within their community.
What you'll bringYou don't need years of experience. We're looking for someone who is:
- Compassionate, respectful and approachable
- A good communicator and listener
- Organised and reliable
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Able to drive, as travel across Renfrewshire is an essential part of the role
Experience in homelessness or housing support would be great, but it's not essential.
We'll give you the training and support you need.About the serviceWe've worked alongside Renfrewshire Council since 2012, providing housing support and homelessness prevention across the area.
