This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organisation.
We pay an attractive salary of £27,694 - £29,064 and offer access to training and development opportunities.The successful candidate will support the Community Regeneration team in the effective running of the service, having responsibility for being the first point of contact for vulnerable residents at our main Hub venues across the borough by undertaking a diagnostic and triage service, using motivational interviewing and strength-based assessments.
This role will work with residents identifying appropriate solutions to the complex needs of vulnerable people, building on the legacy and relationships developed to date, whilst moving to a fresh approach to building resilient communities.
The post holder will also be responsible for working with internal departments, other public bodies, third sector organisations and community groups to refer individuals into the most appropriate service provision. As part of this role, you will provide building and ad-hoc administrative support at various community-based venues, including co-ordination of building use.
For the role, we ask that you have: - A Level 3 qualification on the Qualifications and Credit Framework for Wales for example, A Levels, NVQ3 Administration.
- Knowledge and understanding of the range of issues that can affect families, children and young people.
- Experience of multi-agency partnership working.
