Supply Livestock Technician, Easton College

Various hour to cover as and when required.

£17.22 - £18.36 per hour including holiday pay

As part of ongoing development on Easton College's Farm, we are seeking to recruit Livestock Technicians to help manage the colleges cattle, sheep, pigs and poultry, covering weekends, holidays and supporting during busy times.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the highest standards of farm livestock husbandry and knowledge in support of students learning.

This is a fun and rewarding opportunity for a passionate, creative and ambitious person to help drive the livestock enterprises to meet the ambitious expectations of the college in all aspects.

An enthusiastic attitude, creative problem solver and logical approach to challenges are essential qualities which when combined with high expectations for safety, cleanliness and presentation will support the team in achieving the standards we expect.

A solid practical knowledge of agricultural systems and livestock production are essential for this post.

As a College we are required to undertake various Safer Recruitment checks as set out within the guidance from the Department for Education Keeping Child Safe in Education.
