Our DREAM? To be the most-loved way to eat dinner, and for every meal to leave the planet better off. Gousto is changing how people shop, cook and eat food at home. It's an incredibly exciting time to join our team! Who you are? We are looking for a energetic, curious and friendly Supply Chain Analyst that wants to be a part of our rapidly growing business.
Your previous experience involves:
Understanding stock flows in a manufacturing or distribution environment, the key controls that limit waste and/or financial losses, and the financial impact of this on the business
Interrogating data to derive insight and recommendations to other stakeholders
Experience with key systems controls around purchase orders, transfer orders and stock adjustments.
Using ERP and Warehouse Management systems
Use of Microsoft Dynamics 2012/365 (F&O) and JDA software is hugely benefical.
Furthermore whilst the expectation is for you to either be a qualified accountant or have aspirations to become one, it is not essential and a proven track record working with finance is sufficient. Role objectives
Provide insight as to processes that are causing inefficiencies within the stock life-cycle, and work with a cross-functional team to implement solutions
Ensure the financial risks associated with stock are flagged early through oversight of key controls
Help the Supply Chain and operations functions optimise stock holding
The initial remit is to be focused on our Spalding fulfilment centre, however the expectation is that you will use your insights to drive actions at the other site
We are currently remote working due to COVID-19. Our Environment Team has been busy reviewing how we could fully reopen our offices, when lockdown measures begin to ease. To support our Spalding fulfilment Centre travel will be required once a week once restrictions have eased.
What you'll do Working in the Financial Control team but being closely aligned with the supply chain and operations teams. Your role will be focused on:
Interrogating daily stock movements to assess outliers and issues (e.g. waste), and providing analysis to business stakeholders about these.
Key liaison between accounts payable, Supply Chain and operations for invoice queries. The role should look to streamline the process here.
Reporting on the operation of key stock controls within the fulfilment centre - e.g. stock counts, reconciliations between systems and for stock held off-site, surplus stock holdings, transfer orders.
Preparing a suite of stock KPIs (and commentary) to disseminate to business stakeholders, covering stock turnover, surplus stock, wastage
