We are recruiting a Supplier Relationship Officer (Procurement) at Caerphilly County Borough Council. Working hours: 37 hours
Contract Type: Full Time, Fixed Term Until 31/03/2030

We pay an attractive salary of £36,581- £39,481and offer access to training and development opportunities.We are seeking a proactive and relationship-focused Supplier Relationship Officer to help develop and strengthen local supply chains across Caerphilly County Borough.
The role involves working with suppliers, SMEs, third sector organisations and internal stakeholders to support procurement objectives, contract management activities and strategic initiatives. You will provide professional advice, build effective partnerships, promote innovation and supplier engagement, and contribute to the delivery of socially responsible and compliant procurement practices.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with strong communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
For the role, we ask that you have: - A relevant Level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales (CQFW).
- Strength of character and presence of mind to liaise effectively and authoritatively with representatives of organisations.
- Experience of local supply chain management and development.
- A Full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business / work purposes to travel throughout the borough to attend meetings.
