Job Title: Substance Misuse Recovery Worker

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to work as a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker in Lewisham at the competitive rate of £20 per hour on an hourly basis. This is a full-time position for a 3-month block booking, Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00. You will be primarily working in a GP Shared Care (GPSC) setting and managing a caseload of adult service users. Your expertise in substance misuse will contribute to delivering personalised and effective treatment plans.

What you will do:

• Work at GP surgeries as well as the main office in Forest Hill, delivering evidence-based interventions.
• Manage a caseload of adult service users, providing tailored support and harm reduction strategies.
• Liaise closely with a team of skilled workers, family members, and significant others, as appropriate.
• Collaborate with GPs and other social care professionals for optimal health and wellbeing outcomes.
• Support clients on OST (Opiate Substitute Treatment) and guide them towards detox and rehabilitation.
• Utilise systems like SystmOne for effective case management and record keeping.
