Civils Sub Agent

Heathrow Airport
(Inside IR35 - Umbrella PAYE)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sub Agent to join a major civils project at Heathrow Airport.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Sub Agent with a strong background in civil engineering and infrastructure projects, managing site teams and subcontractors across a range of packages including earthworks, drainage, utilities, highways, structures, and reinforced concrete works.
Key Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day site operations and delivery of civils packages.
• Supervising engineers, foremen, and subcontractors.
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification.
• Producing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs, permits, and work package plans.
• Managing quality assurance, inspections, and as-built documentation.
• Coordinating with clients, stakeholders, and Heathrow operations teams.
• Monitoring programme performance, productivity, and commercial targets.
• Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Sub Agent, Senior Engineer, or Section Engineer on major civils or infrastructure projects.
• Strong background in one or more of the following:
  • Earthworks
  • Drainage
  • Utilities
  • Highways
  • Reinforced Concrete Structures
  • Groundworks
• Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour.
• Knowledge of RAMS, ITPs, permits, QA/QC, and temporary works processes.
• CSCS Card required.
• SMSTS preferred.
• Heathrow, airport, rail, highways, or major infrastructure experience beneficial.
• Ability to obtain full airside security clearance.
